Today we started to test out Google Classroom in class. Google Classroom is a tool to promote communication and collaboration, turn in work, and take quizzes online. I could post a question and scholars could answer the question, view others' responses, and comment on others' responses. We spoke about online safety and leaving behind a positive digital footprint. Google Classroom is a closed website that only the teacher and students of the teacher can communicate. No one else can join the class or scholars cannot add someone else to the class. Tonight's homework assignment could be completed on Google Classroom or on paper.
Scholars can access Google Classroom through Clever. https://clever.com/in/beverly-hills-unified-sch-dist Clever is another great tool to automatically log scholars into useful websites such as Benchmark Education for any Language Arts books or extra reading books, Code.org, or typing.com. There are also other resources listed for scholars to use at home. Your scholars may also access the G-Suite apps (Google apps) as well. I am so thankful for scholars that want to learn. Thank you for attending the parent conferences. We are thankful for your support! Comments are closed.
